Graffiti is a super unique way to express yourself. Sometimes it is used to express yourself in ways words can’t. I love the idea of expressing your inner feelings, doing the unsaid and such. The only problem is not everyone is doing it for a good reason or place it in the right place. There is many areas were that are vandalized with crude words and gang symbols, I really dislike that kind of graffiti but as I said I really like those beautiful expressive murals. What are your thoughts on graffiti?

Can’t wait! What movie should we do?  If your not an eighth grader put down suggestions. 

My favorite has to be either Animal from the Muppets or Mr. Noddle from Sesame Street. I don’t know why, I just like them. I used to watch sesame street as a little kid, not anymore, Obviously. Anyway who is your favorite character, or characters?

Will you miss school this summer. If so what will you miss about it. I would just miss my friends. I love them.

As much as I like my teacher I can’t wait for summer.

I think that our blog has not only been an amazing success this year, but also very beneficial. We get to share appropriate posts in which we can discuss things we find interesting. For example, I thought some of the juggling and flipping videos were pretty epic. There are also a lot of things you can learn from that you wouldn’t even know that they had existed without the blog. While doing this, we also get to practice our writing and grammar skills. What do you think about the blog?

The end of the 2017-2018 school year is slowly coming to an end, and because of that, I’m really upset. I love school and everything that has to do with it. More specifically, I like science and ELA. I’ll also miss my friends. However, I am also looking forward to a great summer vacation and an awesome fifth grade year!

This school year has been crazy. All of our sports teams and clubs have done great, we have done great of SBACs, and we renewed our charter. Great school year DCS. I hope for many more. Also we will miss all of you 8th graders. Have a great summer.

What message does your favorite song try to get across to you?

My favorite song is You’re Not Alone, By:Owl City. Adam Young (Owl City) is trying to get across to you that you are not alone, like how it says in the title, but that God is with you and that he is love and you are his until he calls you home. Also that you can rely on him in everything.

Another one by Owl City is,My Everything. It has the same type of point. That in  you troubles and trials that God is with you through it all. Also that you are his and he is yours. Remember you can turn to God for help in everything.

High school is just around the corner for the eighth graders.  I am very excited to be a freshman because I made it into Las Vegas Academy, the high school I highly anticipated.  What high school did you get into?  If you are in 6th or 7th grade, what high school do you plan to go to?
